County Hire is a privately-owned business based in Tadley. The Company was founded in 1991, and since that time has continuously supplied hire services to builders, contractors, gardeners, householders, landscapers and maintenance companies throughout the local area.

We offer a comprehensive range of modern rental products (see Equipment Selector in the left hand column), backed up by hand tools, safetywear and other consumables. All our hire equipment is supplied with safety instructions and test certificates acceptable to civil and M.O.D. safety officers. Advice and instruction in its safe use is available at the point of hire.

Our premises are on the edge of Tadley, where we are well placed to serve the surrounding villages and the local towns of Basingstoke, Newbury and Reading. We deliver and collect from site when required.

Our operation is approved by both the Hire Association of Europe (SafeHire), Construction Health & Safety (Chas) and Hampshire Trading Standards (Buy With Confidence scheme).

County Hire Management Commitment

Safety Policy

To supply a range of safe, reliable, modern equipment at all times by adherence to inspection and test procedures that are regularly audited by an independent Safety Officer. Each item is issued with safety-and-use instructions plus a current safety ticket that meets standards set by Safety Officers responsible for building sites and M.O.D. establishments.
