What is Safe-HIRE?
Safe-Hire is the premier safety and quality accreditation scheme
for the equipment rental industry. It fosters high standards of
safety and customer care in hire and rental businesses.
It assures you that we are a responsible, systematic and committed
organisation providing safe, high quality and environmentally friendly
equipment and service.
The scheme is voluntary, and participating companies go through
a rigorous, annual assessment. If successful in attaining certification,
they are then subjected to unannounced test hires. This ensures
that the standards are maintained.

What is CHAS?
Local authority health and safety and procurement professionals,
with the support of the Health and Safety Executive, have developed
the Contractor Health and Safety assessment scheme (CHAS). The scheme

What is ARA?
ARA stands for American Rental Association. It is the industry
body that represents equipment rental businesses in the USA, and
is roughly equivalent to the Hire Association of Europe. We are
members of ARA so that we can benefit from their vast experience
in the rental industry, can have access to their knowledge bank
and learn their methods of customer service.
