County Hire has been renting plant and tools to builders, landscapers, civil engineers, utility management companies and home owners throughout Berkshire and North Hampshire since 1991.

Our range includes Access Equipment; Mini Diggers & Dumpers; Breakers; Drills; Compaction Equipment, Garden Machinery - in fact almost any machinery you might need for building, gardening, landscaping or maintenance.

County Hire is SAFEHIRE certified, which means that the Company has been independently inspected to ensure that the equipment they rent out is safe, and their staff are competent to advise the hirer on the correct safetywear and the right way to use the equipment.

County Hire Management Commitment

The management team is committed to the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing improvement of our business systems, and will be supportive of training needs to help deliver this. We shall maintain a business system that satisfies statutory and regulatory requirements. Furthemore, we undertake to ensure we maintain standards that will satisfy the requirements of the Hire Association of Europe (Safehire) and the Construction Health & Safety scheme (CHAS).

Safety Policy

To supply a range of safe, reliable, modern equipment at all times by adherence to inspection and test procedures that are regularly audited by an independent Safety Officer. Each item is issued with safety-and-use instructions plus a current safety ticket that meets standards set by Safety Officers responsible for building sites and M.O.D. establishments.

At Tadley on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. Ideally situated to serve the surrounding villages, the nearby towns of Basingstoke, Newbury and Reading plus the A.W.E. sites at Aldermaston and Burghfield. Postcodes RG26, RG7.
